AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT graphics card images may have leaked ahead of launch event

Images of the AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT graphics card may have just been leaked online, mere hours before its expected announcement. The two models shown in the leaked images are supposedly designs of the GPU from Asus.

According to Videocardz, which first shared the images, the pictures are believed to be of the Asus Radeon RX 6700 XT Dual - a 12GB dual-fan model - and the Asus Radeon RX 6700 XT TUF Gaming OC - also 12GB but incorporating three fans and factory overclocking.

With an official announcement from AMD potentially only hours away, we won’t have to wait long to find out if these latest leaks are real. Make sure you check out our guide on how to watch the AMD Radeon launch event live for all the details as they're revealed.

The AMD Radeon RX XT Dual will reportedly be a non-factory-overclocked model and so may be the rumored lower power model using the Navi 22-B GPU. According to Videocardz it will feature a 6-pin and 8-pin power connector and is about 29.7cm long.

We’ll have to wait for some in-depth independent testing to know how well this graphics card performs, but with the RDNA 2 architecture behind it, this could shape up to be a powerful mid-range option for your next build.

The factory-boosted alternative on the other hand could be the graphics card for you if you want to spend a little more for some extra graphical power. Likely featuring a Navi 22-A GPU, the Asus Radeon RX 6700 XT TUF Gaming OC three fan, 32.2 cm long GPU will apparently have two 8-pin connectors and could be another one to watch out for in the mid-range market.
